Kelly Carithers was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on May 2, 1955. She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, receiving a B.A. in 1977 and her J.D. in 1980. After working for four years as a public defender in Pulaski County, Arkansas, she joined this firm in the spring of 1985 and became a partner in the firm in 1989. She is rated preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in Best Lawyers in America and serves as an adjunct Professor at the University of Arkansas School of Law. Her memberships include the Arkansas and Washington County Bar Associations, as well as the Arkansas State Board of Law Examiners.
Practice Areas: Kelly has an active trial practice, focusing in the areas of medical, legal and dental malpractice defense, all aspects of employers liability law and general insurance defense. She is a member of the Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel.
